THE COMPANY
RGM Music was established in 1983. During that time it has outgrown two previous locations. Our current location in Kilmarnock town centre places us in an ideal position to support musicians throughout Ayrshire and central Scotland. Our staff are all working professionals with decades of experience between them in all aspects of music. We have expertise in live sound, PA system design and installation, recording, stage lighting, instrument repair, equipment servicing .... .... you name it, we've got it covered - all backed up by an after-sales support that's the envy of our industry.

Ian & Loreta Mortimer
Directors

Husband and wife team Ian and Loreta have been involved in the music industry since the early 80's and take great pride in supporting the musicians of central Scotland. Ever aware of the varied needs of musicians, they work hard to ensure RGM Music provides unsurpassed levels of service to its customers.

Tom McMaster
PA Specialist

Tom has been with us for almost as long as we've been in existance. In fact, there's a rumour that Tom stood in Nelson Street, Kilmarnock one day in the early 80's and RGM Music was built around him!!! He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in PA and has helped many of our customers set up the ideal PA for their needs. A prolific guitarist, Tom is our in-house guitar tech. From simple tune-ups to the fitting of replacement parts, Tom takes care of it.

Billy Johnstone
Lighting Specialist

Billy is a professional solo performer with a keen interest in stage and effects lighting. Keeping abreast of current trends and the latest developments in lighting technology, Billy's the man to see for all your lighting requirements. He's also a dab hand at guitar, banjo, mandolin and keyboards. Come to think of it, Billy's just a good all rounder!!! Billy is responsible for our stock control.

Tiger Todd

Tiger (yes, that's his real name!) came to us for work experience as a schoolboy in 2000 and we haven't been able to get rid of him since! A fanatical guitarist, Tiger plays in local band Stone Cold Rumours. He is a vital part of our team, providing valuable advice to our customers on all aspects of guitar playing. Tiger also helps Tom with guitar set-ups and repairs and is responsible for our repairs scheduling process.
